ChallEnge

To provide a new brand identity to position Medsol as an industry leader in medical recruitment. They wanted to distinguish themselves from their competitors and establish a strong reputation for providing quality candidates that, in turn, provide quality care. Medsol were also on a mission to attract new clients, candidates and recruitment staff through an established brand. 

Outcome

A complete brand refresh with master logos, department logos and fonts and styles that created a cohesive digital and physical presence. We worked with them to create print assets, interior office designs, photography and brand activation.

Since 2001, Medosl have slotted comfortably into the medical recruitment arena. But they were tired of being comfortable. They wanted to be different. Our first task was gathering all the Medsol stakeholders into a room and getting to the crux of what made them tick. As a result, it became glaringly apparent that they were all there for one reason - no, not the money! - to put medical professionals into positions where they can directly impact a patient's life. From here, the brand position became almost inevitable.

Developing the strategy

Defining the brand

Following our meetings with Medsol, we summarised the brand message into three words that completely embodied their people and practices. 'Patient-focussed recruiting.' It is these three words that position Medsol among the foremost quality providers of medical recruitment.

Positioning

Redesigning the Medsol logo with patient-focused recruiting in mind created a new visual identity led by a wholly individual logo - a simple X comprising a plaster representing care and a pill representing treatment. The X itself represents a kiss - the most human response to pain.

Result

The new brand and a comprehensive marketing strategy have attracted new candidates into Medsol's talent pool and encouraged their own staff to have a broader vision of what the Medsol name represents. The refreshed exhibition designs and assistance with their new website have positioned them as an industry leader.
