Business Plan For Peace

As part of its organisational growth, BPP sought an agency that understands that effective communication is essential in transforming conflict. They wanted to include visual elements that worked alongside the already established brand of The Mighty Heart, yet distinctly different. The Spread team got to work to start analysing BPP's messaging and identified the universal symbols of the sun and the moon on the Mighty Heart logo. When these two overlap, we see an eclipse, and everything stops. An eclipse creates a moment in time for a change.

Defining the brand

After deeply analysing the current branding, Spread created a new visual identity that symbolises alignment, bringing equity to power imbalance and a moment to pause and re-evaluate.

Positioning

With a presence amongst global business leaders, our job wasn't to reposition Business Plan For Peace, but rather create a brand that matched their status and reputation. Our rebrand created a cohesive image for BPP that reflects their values business position.

Result

Business Plan for Peace's new identity aligned them with its current position as a global leader in conflict resolution, increased engagement and allowed them to become a more confident organisation. From the initial project with BPP, we developed a new visual system for their sister brand, Plan For Peace.

"Spread are the ones. They listen to understand, see the future we are building, and they present it back bigger, clearer and better. It's been nothing but a pleasure to work with their creative team, all experts in their field, who get us, and who are ahead of the game in bringing us, through our brand redesign, to the future we want to create. Spread is the design journey to take you from where you are to where you want to go. Spread has improved our image and how we do things too." – Isla Glaister, Former CEO.
