Altitude Risk Partners

Developing the strategy

Defining the brand

Meetings with this entrepreneurial team began before the company was formed helping Spread gain a valuable insight into the driving factors behind the launching of this new business. The brand is an extension of these ambitions and this level of inside access allowed Spread to capture and describe the brand as it evolved.

Positioning

Positioning this new business into an established marketplace in the City of London needed an approach that was as fresh as the business itself. Sharp designs, provocative content, responsive media and access to the senior staff set this company apart and created a stir. The promotional film was conceived, written, storyboarded and directed by Spread. It instantly threw a proverbial stone into the stagnant water of the insurance sector and its ripples were felt around the global aviation and space insurance markets. Calls came in from around the world with stories of groups of brokers gathering around screens to watch it as the word spread.

Result

Spread took an early rendering of a logo and reworked it into a sharp, monotone symbol that is instantly recognisable. It was quickly used in place of the company's name to encourage automatic association. A website, brochures and business stationery all followed along with marketing materials and event signage. Altitude Risk Partners caused quite a stir when it launched. Rival insurance firms sought to squeeze them out of the market before they could get a foothold, but the damage was already done. Altitude quickly grew with new clients and brokers being added on a regular basis. Today they are part of the Nexus Underwriting Group in London and considered among the very best at what they do.
